NOTHING BUT DESSERTS
Smallville, Ilo -ilo, Philippines
This time I went local, to my province, Ilo-ilo.
After a sumptuous dinner, My boyfriend and I were up for desserts. My cousin suggested that we go to Nothing but Desserts.
When I heard the name, I thought it was just a description of the actual store but then she reiterated and I thought it was an exciting place to be to enjoy desserts – since the name itself says it!
It was perfect because the store was just a few walks away from our dining restaurant.
From a far, I easily noticed the name of the store and I felt a sudden excitement and craving.
I was pretty overwhelmed with huge selections of desserts! most of them are European – inspired.
From dessert cups
Cakes, macaroons, bites
mini cakes
cake slices and bars
cake pops
cream puffs
and even ice creams gelato!
My oh my! They all look delicious! I really had a hard time choosing which one to try.
What’s more surprising for me is that they’re all affordable and really worth the price!
This is valued only at Php110
This one cup full is only worth Php 80!
Nothing but Desserts is a place to hang out for a sweet tooth like me. It is very accommodating for people of all ages. It’s great for family bonding, friendly hang outs or just for satisfying individual cravings but should be cautious for diabetic ones! 😉
I am really proud of my fellow Illongos. They were creative to come up with such a unique set up, having a European – inspired dessert retail store readily available in public which used to be seen only in Manila Hotels or other expensive international restaurants.Their store is more like what I’ve seen in American setting. Foods are more of a take away though they have small dining areas for groups to get cozy and enjoy their treats while chatting.
This is the kind of store I’ve always wanted to put up and I’m glad an Ilonggo started it. 🙂
One more exciting thing, I heard they’re about to put up a branch near GMA, Kamuning area. Stay posted for their opening 🙂 so excited about this!

we should go back there again when we get a chance to go back to Ilo ilo. Let me know when you see them putting up their branch near you 🙂

ate bu 😀 san po sya sa ilo-ilo ? :)) nag paplano po kasi kami pumunta ng ilo-ilo , kaya po bigla kong naalala to 😀 gusto ko rin po kasi syang mapuntahan :))
